Meet the Candidates
When: Thursday 4th September 2025
Time 7pm to 9pm
Where: Club Wairarapa (RSA), 20 Essex St, Masterton
16 short videos of the candidates who spoke at the above meeting can be viewed by clicking the Youtube links below. All candidates for Masterton Council and Mayoral positions were invited to attend and speak, but not all could attend.
The event was successful, but far more people attended (over 150) than expected, and the function room was not large enough for everyone to see and hear the candidates. Hopefully these videos will be of help to those who could not get a seat in the function room.
The videos are in reverse alphabetical order.
Cuppa with the Candidates
When: Sunday 14th September 2025
Time 2pm to 3:30pm
Where: Lakeview School, Colombo Road, Masterton
This event was held to allow those who could not attend the "Meet the Candidates" event on the 4th September, or who attended but could not get a place in the room.
The format was different, with the candidates given 3 minutes to share their vision for Masterton.
Candidates standing for election to the Masterton District attended, as well as for Greater Wellington Regional Council.
The MC was Brent Gare.
